Choral Speaking Winner Wows Audiences in SJK(C) Yuk Kong

Choral Speaking Angels (CSA), the official and sole representative of the Vocational College, won first place in the choral speaking category of the Keningau District Level, which runs from from the morning until the afternoon of February 28.

The CSA from Keningau Vocational College obtained a total score of 95.0 to defeat 4 other secondary schools around the district.

For The First Time, The Voluntary Inter-districts Debate Championshion

On Tuesday 5 Feb at SMK Majakir, the friendly match got under way with the debates on the internet brings more harm than good.

There was a great buzz throughout the day, with stacks of questions from the audience and lots of contact details being swapped amongst teachers at the end.

"I want my students to fight with the best among the rest!" roared Mr. Sirhajwan excitedly.

Anna Lena & Anni Reichert from Germany are on their social service for one month beginning Feb, the 4th. The students as well as the guests would benefit from cultural diversity as they're being exposed to different languages, traditions, holidays and food (read till the end of this post, we've a surprise for you!).

"Apa Nak Jadi?! LISTEN la..."



Crammed inside the mini bus? NO BIGGIE! As long as we can watch  the live theatrical comedy!
The English Drama Team in collaboration with the Visual Culture Society organized a trip to Kota Kinabalu to watch an English theatre with a mission to hone their drama skills. "The plot touched on everyday issues in Malaysia as well as trying to open up the mindset of Malaysian society." uttered Mr Khalifah, the coach for the college's drama team.

The Storybook Project (British Council)

It's a collaboration with British Council, involving the secondary school students to visit primary school to conduct an investigation on their interest, and develop a story based on it. Our students visited the rural school, and conducted games on year 1 and 2 before interviewing them.

MBMMBI: Annual Grand Meeting

Heyy guys, I'm at Quality Hotel, Selangor. I'm attending the second meeting of MBMBI (Upholding the Malay Language and Strengthening the Command of English ) under BPTV. And this time around it's more fun as I've met many new faces (some even at my age, too!). So there's a lot of sharing happening around here. We also prepared a plan for 2013.
